For the first time ever, Ave Maria University has an official collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association. Led by Assistant Professor of Business, Dr. Emily Howell, this community will bring exciting new resources and events to AMU students. The board of the AMU collegiate chapter will hold it's first informational meeting open to all students interested in joining the club on Sunday, November 17th at 6 pm in the Lecture Hall. Pizza and drinks will be provided!
Attention! AMU is experiencing an extreme amount of unauthorized vehicles parking in the Resident Student Lots. If you do not have a valid AMU Registration to park in the residential lots, you are not authorized to park there and you will be ticketed and/or towed. The student lots are the following: Lot A, Lot B, Lot C, Lot D, Lot E, Lot T, all spaces along Donahue and all spaces along Dolan streets.
AMU is now offering a 4-week summer program with all the same fun & adventure as the fall & spring! Ideal for varsity athletes and majors with less flexibility during the regular school year, think of this as a “mini” version of the program, taking place in the same location and with the same staff as the fall & spring.
To learn more or to apply, please email AMUabroad@avemaria.edu. You'll be given access to our virtual informational session (available 24/7!). Deadline to apply is December 2, 2024.
If you are interested in serving your fellow students as a Resident Assistant (RA) at AMU, please note the application will be opening soon. Sweet Mother, look with compassion on all those who have been affected by destruction and loss, be with them in their suffering, reunite loved ones, and quickly provide them aid and support. We also commend to you all those who have lost their lives and ask for God’s mercy upon them and their families. Amen.
Join us tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the lecture hall to watch the movie Surf's Up! Enjoy popcorn and candy, bring your friends, and relax with us. We can’t wait to see you there!
Thank you to everyone who responded with a resounding YES to the call of helping our neighbors! Tomorrow morning’s service opportunity in Immokalee is FULL. We’re grateful our area was not impacted as badly as anticipated, but your willingness to volunteer is heartening. The Mother Teresa Project is in close contact with Catholic Charities and several parishes in the Naples/Fort Myers area. We anticipate there may be a need for support in the coming weeks for those in the hardest-hit areas. Please continue to monitor the Helper Helper app for future volunteer opportunities to assist those affected by Hurricane Milton.
