Our club cares for the hives which we have going on campus, as well as teach those who are interested in the arts of beekeeping. To strive as St. Bede's Beekeeping Club to maintain Catholic tradition in the caring of bees, that we might be good stewards of the world and "Working like bees with order and peace, learn to enjoy and have others enjoy the fruit of labor, [and] the sweetness and the light in this life here below," according to Pope Pius XII's address to beekeepers.
Our major events include harvesting honey and teaching others on beekeeping, along with our monthly meetings. To become a member of the club, please reach out to one of the board members. We are looking for those interested in the stewardship of God's creation, aligning with the mission we have set forth for our club.
