Ave Maria University's ACM Chapter (Computer Science Club) serves as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and technological exploration on campus. Committed to advancing computer science education and fostering a vibrant tech community, the club offers a myriad of opportunities for students to engage in coding challenges, hackathons, workshops, and guest lectures. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, members sharpen their programming skills and stay abreast of emerging technologies. With a focus on inclusivity and mentorship, the ACM Chapter provides a supportive environment where students can learn, grow, and connect with like-minded peers. Ave Maria's ACM Chapter embodies the spirit of innovation and the boundless potential of technology.
We have a full schedule of technical workshops planned as well as seminars to help to succeed in classes on campus and prepare technical resumes for internships. Finally, we have some fun activities planned like group hackathon projects and coding competitions.
Any student is welcome to join. Our activities are geared for Computer Science majors, but students from any major our encouraged to join.
