As members of Fiat Voluntas Tua, in declaring “Thy will be done,” we actively strive to embrace our Father’s will. The great “Fiat” of Our Lady within the Annunciation is a continual reminder for our community to surrender to God’s plan, which demands the act of dying to ourselves and trusting in Him. As we conform ourselves to the will of God, we discover and cultivate aspects of motherhood, both spiritual and biological. In this, we seek to grow in the virtues of humility, prudence, and patience through prayer, reflection, and sisterly support. As real-life examples, we turn to St. Teresa of Avila, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, St. Joseph, and St. Padre Pio to live a life of conformity to the will of God.
