As the men of Praecursores Verbi, we aim to cultivate a life of virtue and holiness built on the example of St. John the Baptist. With a life centered around the Liturgy, we seek to pursue sacrifice, joy, and justice as true Christian men through prayer, recreation, and brotherhood. We unite ourselves to the Chruch by participating in the sacramental life, upholding the Truth, and rejoicing when She rejoices and fasting when She fasts. In doing so, we recognize our lives are not wholly our own, and we declare the words of St. John the Baptist, “He must increase; I must decrease,” (John 3:30). In our journey towards sanctity, we turn to the patronage of St. John the Baptist, the example of St. Therese, and the protection of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
